The Honduran blend was fantastic years ago, but the quality diminished, and towards the end they were not as good. This new blend, from Nicaragua, is much better than the last dozen or so that I had of the old Honduran blend.

Rob and Dave I agree. The old blend was my favorite cigar. The new blend received a top rating by Cigar Aficionado because it now tastes like the other standards. I bought the old blend because it was unique and tasted like nothing else. My only question is where online can I get a box of the original.

I agree with you Rob. The old blend was one of my favorite go to cigars. I tried the new blend twice. While it’s not bad and I may actually really like it at some point I’m sad to see to old blend go. I did run to my local tobaconist and grabbed a box of the old blend at great price.

If they are not buying these by the handful they are going to be making a lot of trips back. This is a must with any true smoker that enjoys a great cigar.

I’m a little worried that Pepin is now selling, errr, blending the same cigar, mostly, and simply putting different bands on them. Anyway, nice review!
