Cigar Review – Corona Cigar Co. 10th Anniversary Nicaraguan

Corona Cigar Company 10th Anniversary Nicaraguan
Wrapper: Indonesian Sumatra
Binder: Nicaraguan
Filler: Nicaraguan
Made In: Honduras?
Size: 5×50 Robusto
Price: $4.00 per single

Appearance & Construction: The Corona Nicaraguan 10th Anniversary is your average looking cigar. The milk chocolate colored wrapper has a few small a few small veins throughout but has a lumpy appearance. The roll looks okay

Smoking Characteristics: What a smooth draw with the Corona Nicaraguan 10th Anniversary. The draw is very free with just the slightest bit of resistance and produces copious amounts of smoke. The burn is very even and the ash, though solid and compact, does tend to fall off a little early.

Flavor: The Corona Nicaraguan 10th stars off with some nice hot spice upfront along with a prominent sweetness. Once the spice backs down a bit you are greeted with notes of coffee, cedar and some nuts. The cigar remained generally the same for the length of this cigar but it was very tasty. The

Final Thoughts: I was completely taken back at how good this cigar is and my God, at $4 per single this cigar is out of this world. This cigar isn’t very complex but it has great flavors that balance out nicely. I have to admit that I didn’t have the highest hopes for this cigar being it is a house blend, but man this cigar knocked my socks off.

Cigar Rating: Great
