Had the CuAvana Intenso torpedo before dinner. I find it goes really well with an afternoon coffee w/ Southern Pecan creamer. This one didn't disappoint, except that I wished I had started it earlier ... had to leave it to make dinner ... rats. I also like the toro and especially the gordo. I'm wondering why they changed the name on the new stock to Intensus from Intenso ... maybe there was a copyright infringement or something, because CI actually went through all of the customer reviews and changed the name. Anyway, as long as it's the same cigar ... then I don't care. Have never really had any serious burn problems with them and the sizes I mentioned usually have a good draw ... maybe a tad tight but nothing serious, IMHO. Thanks for reviewing this cigar. Hadn't had one in awhile, but do consider it as a more than decent, more than medium cigar.

I am smoking a cu-avana intenso as I write this. A nice draw and wrapper. The ash is light enough, but it does flake quite easily. To me it is a fine moderate to full-bodied smoke. I never write a review with comments like, fine notes of vanilla extract or certain coffee flavors hitting the blend a certain burn lenght down your stick. Why, because to me that is a lot of bovine excrement. It is smoke off of a natural leaf. Not wine or cofee or spices in your rack. Great value, try one!

Inexpensive bundled cigars certainly can be like rolling dice in that when a really nice cheap one arises you feel as if you've beat the odds. The Joya de Nic Fuerte Series B is such an odds beater. It smokes as good as many at twice the price. Not surprisingly you can't have everything at a price just north of the "fire sale" category so, as stated in the review, this stick is not tremendously complex. It is flavorfu with some notes of mocha, dry wood, and lighter roast coffee. It is, however, quite smooth at the same time never really having a spicy zing. I did not know it was the same blend as the Antano which, if memory serves me, I thought was deeper with just a bit of random spice. I found nothing to seriously complain about here, agreeing it stayed straight through about the same flavor profile as noted in said review. Never any odd tastes, however, at the price it seems compelling to call it a recommended bargain stick.

This is a gorgeous sweet cigar. The Nic wrapper is very chocolatey with some nice spices in the filling. Most as good as my favourite cigar, the Cohiba Secreto.
