New Cigars of 2011

Here is a list of New Cigars being released in 2011. This list does not include Brick & Mortar Exclusives, nor does it list limited edition cigars that have been released in prior years the same name. 601 La Bamba: Limited Edition cigar from Eddie Ortega and Erik Espinosa from EO Brands.

601 White Label – This will be a mild Connecticut cigar made by Pepin. I am eagerly awaiting this cigar to see how well Pepin does a mild cigar.

Adrian’s CroMagnon – A cigar from Michael Rosales of Adrians Cigars and Skip Martin of Hava Cigar Shop & Lounge in Austin, TX. The cigar features a Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper, Cameroon binder, and Nicaraguan fillers.

Aka Cigars- A new Company to the cigar world no word about their cigars yet.

Arsen – A new company from the Dominican Republic.

Bolivar d’ Oro – A new limited edition cigar from General Cigar Company.

Cain Daytona – A lighter version of the Cain’s from Studio Tobac, a division of Oliva Cigars.

Casa Fernandez Arsenio F1 – No details about the cigar yet, but it’s been well recived so far by CF’s customers and its safe to say it will contain AGANORSA LEAF BABY!

Crowned Heads – A new company created by former CAO Director of Lifestyle Marketing Jon Huber. Crowned Heads is only the name of the company names of the cigars will be different.

EP Carrillo Elencos – Based on the 2010 Limited Edition cigars. These will be available in 3 sizes.

EP Carillo New Wave Connecticut – This will be Ernesto’s Connecticut cigar.

Fausto – A Pete Johnson cigar that is identical to the T110 blend but will be available in 3 different sizes.

Fonseca 120th – Announced at this year’s Pro Cigar Festival in the Dominican Republic. This cigar will be a limited release but unfortunately nothing else is known about this cigar.

G.A.R. OPIUM – Can’t seem to track down any information yet but there are some pictures of this cigar out there.

Gran Habano Grand Reserva #3 – This cigar will consist of Colombian and Nicaraguan Tobacco that has been aged for 10 years.

Illusione Candela – Dion will be taking a couple sizes of the Illusione line and putting a candela wrapper on it. Should be interesting as we haven’t seen a new candela cigar.

Illusione Maduro – Same concept as the Candela but with a Maduro wrapper.

J. Fuego Sangre de Toro – No info on the blend yet. Check back.

Janny Garcia – A cigar to commemorate Janny Garcia, daughter of Jose ‘Pepin’ Garcia, owner of My Father Cigars.

Jameson Southbound Series Latitude – A Dominican bundle smoke.

La Aurora Garcia y Leon – This cigar never happened last year so we will see where it goes this year.

La Casita Criolla – A Pete Johnson idea that will contain 100% Connecticut Broadleaf according to Pete Johnson’s Facebook page. This cigar will be made at the My Father Cigar Factory in Esteli Nicaragua.

La Flor Dominicana Air Bender Maduro – As you can guess this is an Air Bender with a Maduro wrapper.

La Flor Dominicana Coronado Maduro – Once again as you can guess this is a Coronado with a Maduro.

La Reloba San Andres Maduro – Similar blend with a San Andres Mexican Maduro wrapper.

Padilla Artemis – Box-Pressed cigar around $8. Should release sometime in march.

Padilla Cazadores Maduro – Not sure if this will make it out this year but it will be the regular Cazadores with a Maduro wrapper of some sort.

Padilla La Terraza – A value priced cigar that will come in a Habano and Maduro wrapper

Padilla Legacies – Ecuadorian wrapper, Dominican and Nicaraguan Filler.

Perdomo Commemoritivo – I had a chance to smoke this cigar while taking the Perdomo Factory Tour in February and it is a fantastic smoke that will retail right around $8. The Perdomo’s said it will be one of the strongest cigars they make.

Punch Rare Corojo 10th Anniversary – Meant to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Punch Rare Corojo, yes the cigar that does not have any Corojo in it.

Swag Limitado – Only 2,000 boxes in a Toro size will be released. Dominican Tobacco, we assume

Tatuaje Avion – The Blend is complete, the Artwork is done. All we need is a cigar.

Tatuaje Monster Series “The Wolf” – Accoding to an interview with Jerry from Stogie Review, Pete was unsure if he was going to make this cigar a go this year. We should know more in summer.

Viaje White Lable Project – A Candella wrapper cigar due out in March for St. Patricks Day.

Viaje Oro Trifecta – A Lancero in the Oro line. I can’t wait for this cigar.

Viaje Late Harvest – A vinter’s approach to cigars where the leaves will be left on the plant longer. Interested to get more details about this.
